The Holy Quran Module

The Holy Quran Module

We aim to nurture a generation guided by Quranic ethics by providing children with meaningful and inspiring engagement with the Quran.

The Holy Quran Module guides children to master letters, vowels, and surahs while nurturing curiosity. It offers them a supportive, loving environment and demonstrates how the Quran serves as a reliable, lifelong guide.

This module enables children to acquire reading skills and take an active role in learning through games, stories, and meaning-centered activities. They relate lessons to daily life, establish lasting connections with the Quran, and build spiritual confidence.

We are building a generation with Quranic morals!

With its game-based and meaning-centered approach, the module introduces children to letters and verses while taking them on a journey to feel the Quran's guidance. Activities, stories, and games enliven learning the Quran.

Every Day, a New Step with the Quran!

The Quran Module offers unique lessons for ages 4-5 and 5-6, with prayer and surah goals practiced in class. The meaning-centered process considers children's age and learning speed. Learning begins with letter awareness and includes individual juz studies, prayer, surah learning, and understanding moral values. The module includes:

  • Orientation and 15 Days of Letter-Vowel Studies: Creates awareness of pronunciation and letters with a safe and fun start.

  • Individual Juz Education: Personalizes learning with at least ten minutes of one-on-one lessons with teachers during the day.

  • Happy Line Activity Books: Used as a teacher resource to support letters, vowels, and the Happy Line Juz Book.

  • Prayer and Surah Goals: 7 prayers and surahs for ages 4-5, and a total of 8 for ages 5-6; taught in a meaning-centered and fun way.

  • Understanding and Memorizing the Quran Activities: Memorization and meaning are gained together through games, dramatization, and sensory activities.

  • Assessment and Evaluation: The learning journey is made visible through process-oriented evaluation that includes the perspectives of the child, teacher, and family.

  • Family Participation: Observation and support at home are provided through family letters and feedback forms.

  • Pedagogical Documentation: Teachers make the process visible through various student products.

  • Core Values and Moral Education: Children are introduced to love, patience, respect, and other fundamental moral values through Hadith and Quran-based practices.

  • Teacher and Student Materials: Module-specific books, folders, and activity sets support the learning process.

  • Age-Appropriate Planning: Activities are presented through daily and thematic plans tailored to children's developmental areas and learning speeds.
